Marivel was greeted by family and friends after spending 40 days in the hospital battling COVID-19. Marivel was 50 when she tested positive. She only left the house once or twice a month, for family gatherings on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and a gender reveal party for her daughter Adette in June, where she found out she would soon have a granddaughter.
